Lockers
Permanent lockers
The free permanent lockers in subject libraries 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 can now be viewed in the catalogue plus.
This is how you proceed:
- open catalogue plus and enter the search term Schließfach in the search slot
- select the desired subject library and note an available locker
- pick up the key in subject library 2 (Mon–Fri / 9am–4pm)
- period of use: 3 months
If there is no reservation for the locker, you can extend the period of use in the catalogue plus up to a maximum of 1 year.
Are all the lockers in a subject library taken?
Then you can reserve a locker using the corresponding button in the catalogue plus and the locker will be reserved for you for 10 days after you return it.
Key return: at the counter of subject library 2 and outside the above-mentioned service hours at the circulation desk BZ.07.
Attention: exceeding the loan period means that all media will be blocked.
Day lockers
... you will find
- behind the group study rooms (level BZ.07)
- in the specialised library 2 (level BZ.08)
- in the specialised library 5 (level BZ.10)
You will need a 1 or 2 euro coin to lock your locker.
These lockers are emptied daily after the library closes.
Lockers outside the library
There are numerous lockers in the corridor in front of the library on the Grifflenberg campus, which are accessible during opening hours. You can lock all the things you are not allowed to take into the library there.
Although our user regulations stipulate that bags, jackets and coats may not be taken into the library, our current practice is to allow them.
You will need a 1 or 2 euro coin to lock your locker.
The lockers are not available for overnight use.
