Registering for the Library Catalogue as an External User
Requirement: You must have a library card in physical card format.

How to obtain your login details
- Open the Portal for External Library Users (please note that the portal is only available in German).
- Important: If you have not yet received your login details, you cannot use the login button yet. First, request a password.
- Select “Forgot password?”
- Enter the email address you provided when applying for your library card.
- You will receive an email containing your new username and a link to set your password. The link is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
- You can use your new login details to sign in to the library catalogue from now on. You can also use the portal to extend the validity of your library account or change your password.
You can now log in to the library catalogue using your login details.
Your library account is initially valid for one year and can subsequently be renewed. We will notify you in good time before your account expires.
